How do I prevent Sound Control from affecting specific apps?

Sound Control will only list apps that have played audio. If there is an app in the menu that you don't want listed, click on the small X at the left hand side to remove it from the listing. You can easily restore the app to the listing by clicking on the + button.

There is a listing of ignored apps in Sound Control's Preferences. You may edit the list of ignored apps here any time.
