How do I fix “Additional Components Required”?

Some users are experiencing an issue with Sound Control causing it to not load properly.

Please try the following: 

1. Reboot your Mac while holding Command-R
2. Select Disk Utility
3. In Disk Utility select your boot disk and run First Aid on it.

This has been working for others. We realize that this is a pain and shouldn’t be necessary. We are working hard to make sure the next update to Sound Control doesn’t have this problem.
