How do I report a bug?

To report a bug please do the following:

1. Launch Sound Control
2. Reproduce the bug.
3. Go into Sound Control's Settings (Preferences)
4. Click on "Contact Support..."
5. Allow Sound Control to save the diagnostics zip file
6. Attach the zip file to your support ticket.

The diagnostics zip file contains:

• Minimal information about your Mac
• Detailed information about the audio devices attached to your Mac
• Any relevant crash reports
• Relevant log messages
