Why isn't Sound Control working with Zoom?

Most likely a quick change in Zoom's settings will address this.

1. Go into Zoom's preferences.
2. Select the Audio settings.
3. Set Speakers to "Same as System".

That's it! Sound Control should now work correctly with Zoom.
