Usually this can be fixed by following the following steps:
- Quit Iris
- Delete your copy of Iris from the /Applications folder.
- Launch the App Store.
- Sign out of the App Store by selecting Store -> Sign Out
- Sign into the App Store with your account.
- Select the "Purchased"
- Download Iris again.
